Terms of Use

SB School of Real Estate — Effective date: August 17, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at thesbscore.com (the “Site”) and your enrollment in courses offered by SB School of Real Estate (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Connecticut-licensed real estate prelicense school located at P.O. Box 3658, Woodbridge, CT 06525.

By using the Site or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or enroll.

These Terms are provided for informational purposes and are not legal advice. We recommend consulting a Connecticut-licensed attorney to confirm these Terms are appropriate for your situation.


1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its related systems
  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site

We reserve the right to deny access to the Site to anyone at any time for any reason.


2. Course Enrollment

Enrollment in a course constitutes an agreement between you and SB School of Real Estate. By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Attend classes as scheduled and meet the attendance requirements set by the school
  • Comply with all school policies communicated at enrollment and during the course
  • Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully toward instructors and fellow students

Enrollment is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your course access, Zoom login, or course materials with any other person.


3. Tuition and Payment

Course tuition is due at the time of enrollment unless a payment plan has been arranged in advance. Payment is processed by GoDaddy Payments, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number.

4. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The following schedule applies:

If a course is cancelled by SB School of Real Estate, enrolled students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available session.


5. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

All course materials — including slides, handouts, recordings, and written content — are the property of SB School of Real Estate or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use course materials solely for your personal study in connection with your enrollment. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials to any third party
  • Record any live class session without prior written permission
  • Use course materials for any commercial purpose

The SB School of Real Estate name, logo, and “the SB Score” are trademarks of SB School of Real Estate. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.


6. Zoom and Third-Party Platforms

Live classes are conducted via Zoom. Your use of Zoom is subject to Zoom's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any interruption, outage, or technical issue arising from Zoom or any other third-party platform.

If a class session is interrupted due to a platform outage, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide a make-up session.


7. Student Conduct

Students are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct during all class sessions and communications with the school. We reserve the right to remove a student from a course — without refund — for conduct that is disruptive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise incompatible with a professional learning environment.


8. Disclaimers

Completion of our prelicense course satisfies the Connecticut educational requirement to sit for the state real estate salesperson examination. We do not guarantee that you will pass the CT state exam, obtain a real estate license, or secure employment as a real estate agent. Exam results depend on individual preparation and performance.

The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SB School of Real Estate and its instructors, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or enrollment in a course. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Haven County, Connecticut, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.


11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or enrollment in a course after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
